Charming holiday cottages by Zahora Beach, southern Spain

CASARA is a set of 7 charming small rural cottages in a coastal setting with an exclusive footpath to Zahora Beach, which is 50 metres away.

CASARA has common garden areas, pérgolas, picnic tables, barbecue, outdoor shower, vegetable garden and fruit trees.

CASARA, is peace and serenity, a place to feel the pleasures and emotions of nature and life.

CASARA is located in an idyllic enclave with views of the majestic deep blue Atlantic Ocean and the Cape Trafalgar lighthouse, where in 1805 Nelson and the British Navy defeated the combined Spanish and French fleets changing the course of history in the Napoleonic Wars.

About me

I live on a beach in Cadiz, more specifically on the beach of Zahora. What is it about this place that makes anyone who visits it fall in love? Is it the walks along the beach with the golden sand or the paths in the Breña Natural Park where you can always see the intense blue of the sea? Is it the happy and charming people or is it the tasty food? I imagine it’s a mixture of everything, but of all the places I’ve been to, of which there have been quite a few, I’d choose this corner of the world.

I am from Cadiz, coming to Zahora since before I was born and at the age of 18, I flew away. I studied in Madrid, Copenhagen (Denmark) and California (USA), where I started to fall in love with the mix of cultures and flavours. In 2006 I started working for an American company and all the money I earned was invested in my dream, CASARA. I have worked in international press and communications in Egypt, Angola, Maldives, Iraq, Ghana, Botswana, Slovakia, Turkey, Turks and Caicos Islands, and Puerto Rico. The work was exhausting and when I had holidays, I came to Cadiz to “fine-tune” CASARA. Here I realised that I slept better, felt better and that this area had a healing effect.

There is nothing I love more than travelling, my heart is full of memories and experiences from all these countries. I travelled for work and also to disconnect from work. I was one of those crazy people who knew the airports better than the streets of her city.

After having a life like in a movie, interesting, funny and exhausting, stories to write a book and also some stories to keep me awake at night, I decided to stop and travel in Asia for 1 year.
During this period I realised that I missed my roots and returned to Cadiz in 2017 to dedicate myself 100% to CASARA.
The return was not easy, but I knew I was where I wanted to be and I was doing what I most wanted to do in the world, conceiving and organising CASARA, building an oasis of peace and tranquillity.
I consider myself a nomad and a traveller, I have been to more than 40 countries and thanks to my international experience, I gained a global vision of what hospitality is and how valuable it is to feel at home.

Call me a romantic, but I believe in love, friendship, local commerce and sustainable development. We go through life so fast that we forget what is really important.
My passions are CASARA, meeting new people, trying new flavours, living new experiences, travelling, running, cycling and sharing laughs with friends. I consider myself addicted to life.
“Thanks to life that has given me so much”, yes, thanks to life for having given me a dream life and also, thanks to my dear father, thanks to my dear mother for always being my pillar and thanks to all the people who have supported me.

My aim is that the guest always finds a welcoming atmosphere, beautiful and bright spaces, friendly people and things made with love. I try to keep our prices affordable and accessible to most people so that the cottages can be experienced and enjoyed. I consider myself to be a very detailed and helpful person and I am very excited that you will discover this little piece of Andalusia and thus help the development of this wonderful region.

I would be glad to help you find the house that suits you and discover what will become your favourite places.
